With a 75d Polyester flysheet giving a 6000mm HH, a nice straight front wall/ Door with a small stub canopy to help keep the rain out and a Zip down divider to the bedrooms, lots of windows ensure a light airy feel to the tent. A Basic Tunnel tent with a hybrid frame of Steel legs and Fibreglass poles for the roof to ensure the tent will stand up to the worst of the British weather better than a purely fibreglass poled tunnel tent. A nice feature is the Ferules that join the Steel leg poles to the Fibreglass roof poles are sewn into the tents flysheet so you can’t lose them, and making it easier to pitch the tent. The hybrid steel/fibreglass poles mean you insert the fibreglass pole sections into the flysheet, then simply add the steel poles for the legs. You do not have to wrestle a long length of fibreglass pole. It is easier to pitch and much stronger. A really nice design, that is good value for money. What the manufacturer says: - Our Breton 500 Deluxe is an excellent family/touring tent. It has a five berth bedroom which can be converted into a 3 and 2 berth bedroom by using the zipped divider and has significant features including an integral canopy which zips away when not in use, and front and side Airflow Doorways.
