For sale is an incredibly gorgeous, absolutely beautifully made and SUPERB QUALITY tooled SCHNEIDER’S 15.5” padded equitation saddle! This is an incredibly nice, beautifully made and HIGH QUALITY saddle. I purchased this saddle from the original owner who bought it new from SCHNEIDER’S SADDLERY back in the mid 80’s. Despite it being around 30 years old, this saddle is in EXCELLENT USED CONDITION as it was sparingly used for select shows during a couple year period and then stored in the basement. There are normal signs of use and wear that should be expected with a used saddle, but nothing abnormal or overly significant. There do not appear to be any markings on this saddle, such as brand logo or serial #, but again, I was lucky enough to purchase it from the original owner who is a long time horse contact of mine. The quality is superb and I feel its easily equivalent, or even superior to, vintage Billy Royal or the like.This saddle has a 15.5” seat when measured to the edge of the suede--see picture with measuring tape—or a 15” seat when measured to the edge of the padding. The gullet is 6 ¾” and this saddle has FQHB. This stunning saddle is medium oil in color with beautiful acorn tooling. It features a padded suede equitation seat, STERLING OVERLAY conchos and plates, GENUINE SHEEPSKIN lining on the underside, a rawhide wrapped horn, and beautiful ROUND PLAITED RAWHIDE on the skirt, pommel and cantle. The stirrups have beautiful acorn tooling on the outer sides as well as a large sterling concho on each. Included is the original matching ACORN TOOLED off billet and a nice cinch strap—these two pieces show a bit more wear, but they are in good useable condition. This is a FABULOUS saddle that you absolutely won’t want to miss out on! Any questions, just ask!
