This is a Fred Mueller high back, bear trap saddle. It is in basically good condition. The leather is good. The saddle strings need to be replaced. One of the conchos is missing. It is somewhere around the house. If I find it I will send it. The skirts are over 28" long. The rear corners have been cut and rounded - probably due to style changes, or the corners rubbed the horse. There is a little piece removed from one of the skirts at the rear center line, and rings have been attached on both side. The fleece is mostly gone. My son rode this saddle regularly until he out grew it. Don't miss this classic early 1900s saddle made by one of the greatest saddle makers.Ask questions before purchasing.
