Selling a black and brown/tan 18" Marathippo II Endurance saddleThis saddle has a deep seat and hand made by Sommer of Germany. This is one of the nicest endurance saddles! This saddle is used but in good condition. It does have marks from being used, so please carefully check out all the pictures and ask for any additional ones you would like to see.This saddle can be rigged with fenders or english/mono leathers and uses a dressage girth. The billets are long and in good condition.This saddle has a wide gullet built to fit wide horses horses with a wide shoulder. This is the follow up model of the Gaston Mercier Marathippo made by Forestier. Gaston Mercier's Marathippo originally was made mainly in size 1 so with the follow up model, the Marathippo II, more sizes became available. Marathippo II has equally high quality leather and was discontinued a few years ago.The Marathippo II features soft Latexmix filled panels underneath which will adapt well to the horses back. It also has a lot of clearance over the spine. Please note that this is not a Model that Sommer developed, they only made it. Saddle can come apart for cleaning (see last picture that was taken by the previous owner. I never took the saddle apart but this is what it looks like if you do) No Stirrups~No Fenders/Leathers ~ No Girth
