17" Shopmade Cutting, Sorting, Team Penning Saddle. 8" Gullet, Padded Seat, Dark Oil. (Saddle is NOT black, just very dark from being well oiled.) Saddle is worked in well. Rawhide Oxbow stirrups. PLEASE NOTE!!!! (this note is because of a recent buyer that was completely ridiculous. It is not directed to honest, good, decent people that know anything about horses, saddles, Texas...!)
This saddle has been USED on cutting & sorting horses in East Texas. Our horses sweat when being ridden. We have dust in Texas. We have high levels of humidity in Texas. Saddles can get dusty, dirty and/or muddy when being used. Saddles can get mildew on them, no matter if they are stored in a tack room or in the tack room of your horse trailer. Saddles can smell like sweaty horses. Our saddles are made of leather & the leather can have scratches on it. ALL of my saddles are cleaned with saddle soap & oiled with Olive Oil prior to shipping. I use a sock or rag as well as a toothbrush to clean & oil them. HOWEVER, I cannot access every single crevasse of a saddle & I may even miss a spot. This does not, in any way, whatsoever harm the structure, integrity or the leather of the saddle. If you don't want ANY dust, dirt, mildew, sweaty horse smell, etc, please look elsewhere for a brand new saddle. Thank you!!!!
