This one sits a little large, like more of a 17.5" when compared to the most recently made very deep seat Schleese saddles. Flaps: Average position flaps are average length, measuring 16" from the stirrup bar down. It has large full length velcro adjustable blocks under the flaps for customized support. Color: Dark Brown. Leather: Fully covered in soft, grippy leather. Year of Manufacture: August 2005. Panels: Normal wool panels offer a very open 5+ finger width gullet channel throughout. This saddle has half panels, which do not extend all the way down under the front of the saddle. These work on an average build horse too, but can really help get the saddle out of the way of a round-bodied horse and/or one with large shoulders. This saddle also has a slightly cut back front shoulder panel for freedom of the scapula. Condition: Good to very good, showing the normal cosmetic signs of a well used saddle. It has the normal rubbing on the flaps from boots and stirrup leathers. The seat cantle has one minor scrape shown in pictures. It does not go all the way through the leather and is purely cosmetic. All seams are tight and strong. Billets show normal wear and test sound.
