This 16.5" Jaguar jumping saddle has the nicest, buttery, supplest leather I've ever felt. The whole saddle is calfskin, giving a soft, elegant feel. This saddle has been well taken care of (cleaned after every ride), but due to the soft calfskin, some wear on the flaps is evident as well as minor bubbling/separation of the top layer of leather over the thigh blocks (well hidden by the rider's leg and invisible when the flap is not pulled up). The flap is the only area that exhibits this type of wear. This saddle is wool flocked with a medium wide (heavier on the wide) 4.75"-ish tree measurement (picture is included for your judgement). It has fit my TB/Welsh gelding and neighbor's QH like a dream. Wither clearance is plentiful with this saddle. Measurements of the seat and flaps are included.
This saddle has never been involved in an accident compromising its tree or performance. Billets are 100%, tree is 100%, and leather is far from cracked.Unfortunately, the knee flap is a bit too much for me - the only reason for this sale! Absolute steal of a saddle, very comparable to Antares, Devoucoux, Voltaire, and other saddle brands. Questions are welcome!
