The North Face Mica FL 2 Ultralight Backpacking Tent
Estimated price for orientation: 179 $
Category: Tents
Class:
Description Brand: The North Face Features: Ultralight
I bought this tent a couple of years ago after doing extensive research on ultra light backpacking tents. There are tons of product reviews and ratings out there that you have probably already found. It's a great tent and my favorite thing about it is the full mesh design for maximum breathability and vision, unless you need protection in which case the fly completely covers the tent. It's also super easy to set up and compresses down really well. I've only used this tent about half a dozen times but loved it every single time. I'm selling it because I don't need the space of a 2 person tent so I primarily use a single tent or bivy sack. I have always hang dried this tent after use so it still smells new and I spot clean it with wet paper towels so it is really clean. I take excellent care of all my things by cleaning and fixing things without delay. It does have one small tear in the fabric on the bottom of the tent which was totally my fault. The pictures show both sides of the single tear. I was in the Black Hills and needed a shelter quick and knowingly pitched over an unmovable rock because I couldn't find a better spot and I thought I could avoid laying on that spot, but ended up rolling over in it during the night and made a small hole. I repaired it as soon as I got home and it hasn't given me any problems since. I used tent repaired tape that is almost the same material and color so it's barely noticeable and the waterproofing should not be affected at all. The blue compression sack shown in the picture is not included! That picture is only showing how much the tent and fly can be compressed if packed separately from the steaks and pole. What is included is everything the tent came with: Tent, fly, 10 steaks, pole, pole bag, steak bag, stuff sack. Everything is super lightweight, durable, and high quality. Any questions, just let me know.
