This is a BRUNTON made Compass, military specification is a robust hard plastic green case again military specification with the words 'CASE CARRYING 10543560' with a metal belt clip on the reverse. These are professional compasses and will measure orientation, Magnetic Declination, azimuth measurement, vertical and percent grade measurement. If you re reading this then you are you know what type of compass you require because this is more a measuring tool it is a fine instrument for surveyors geologist and land professionals. I have included the instruction prints from the Internet. You will find cheaper but these are from China and India and are not genuine Brunton compasses they look similar but they are not
