The Marmot Limestone 6-Person 3-Season Tent isn't really something you want toss on your back and head out on the trail with, but for car camping or backyard excursions, it's the perfect shelter for the whole family (provided you're not trying to single-handedly repopulate a desolate planet). It sleeps six without trouble, and is tall enough (6ft 3in!) that an adult can stand up without bumping their head on the ceiling. Two horizontal poles provide tons of horizontal head room, too, and the Limestone sets up in minutes, as the four DAC aluminum poles, clips, and sleeves are color-coded to avoid confusion. Once it's pitched, the whole crew will dig the space, which is boosted by two doors with giant vestibules so you don't have to bring gear, or Spot the Newfoundland, inside if it's wet. Nor will you have to worry about water getting in, since the Limestone's polyester fly, nylon floor, and polyester walls have fully taped seams and DWR coatings to repel moisture. The mesh walls and fly vents work together to keep air circulating even if the skies open up, and the reflective guy-out points keep you from tripping and bringing the whole shebang down in heap when you make a mad nighttime dash to the bathroom.
