Sure you probably use your own dry bags to store your gear but it’s good to know you have a back up.The ethically sourced hydrophobic down and 4T synthetic insulation gives you all of the insulative properties of a down bag in a compact package that is very resistant to wet conditions.Manufactured with a “box wall” construction which simply means that the filling is contained in box shaped baffles to ensure the fill stays even distributed from head to toe.The down part of the fill has a Hydro-barrier making use of Premium 90/10 700 fill power duck down which stays drier four times longer than normal untreated down.The Vango Fuse bags have a 30 denier mini ripstop nylon outer shell fabric which is lightweight, soft and breathable.The outer shell also has a water resistant finish which repels moisture and protects down inside.The bags lining has a soft smooth silk feel and is made from 30 denier mini ripstop nylon.Overall the Fuse has zips and seems positioned in the lower section of the bag, which are also ergonomically shaped to fit around head and shoulders for better heat retention.A structured hood design keeps your head and shoulders warmer during the night.Even the zip has a baffle behind it which helps to minimise heat loss.The zip system can make or break a sleeping bag. All fuse bags have a full length Two-Way Auto-Lock Zip with Zip Guard which is used to seal in warmth or provide ventilation. It can also be used from inside the bag.
