Fantastic 17.5" Equation jumping saddle which was had made in England by Master Saddler Patrick Saddlery. Great saddle for showing, riding in the ring, out on trails, jumping and flat work. Secure and comfortable for both horse and rider. Similar to a Black Country in look and feel and has the The Society Master Saddlers stamp (C3166) like the Black Country and County saddles. Very nice condition, approximately 10 years old. Costs over $4000 new. Well balanced saddle, very comfortable, and secure. Seat -17.5" (will work best for a rider that rides normally in a 17" or 17.5" saddle) with a medium/regular twist and open seat Tree - 4.5" medium-wide (tree hasn't been adjusted yet that I know of but can be by Equine Inspired or a qualified saddle fitter) (fits well on a horse or pony with a normal to wider type back and wither that is on the straighter side, not a curvy backed horse with a high wither) Flocking - wool flocked in the front and rear with Flair only in the mid-front area to encourage freedom of the shoulder and to avoid pressure on the sides of the wither. If desired, it could be converted to all wool by a qualified saddler. Leather - dark brown calfskin and covered buffalo leather, well conditioned, great grip and nicely taken care of. Stirrup Bars - adjustable stirrup bars with 3 settings so you can move the stirrup bar forward, middle or backward depending on what works best for your leg, knee and hip angle Flap - padded flaps measure 13" from the stirrup bar to the bottom of the flap and are positioned slightly forward, has both front and back blocks to support your leg Panels - integrated panels for comfort and close contact Saddle Cover - includes a black Equine Inspired fleece saddle cover Stamped serial number 604175658 See equineinspired.com and patricksaddlery.com for more information.
