ALSO, IF SHIPPING ENDS UP BEING LESS THAN QUOTED PRICE, THE DIFFERENCE WILL BE REFUNDEDWOW! For sale is an incredibly gorgeous, absolutely beautifully made and SUPERB QUALITY tooled RR western pleasure saddle, hand crafted by E. MCNAB! The latigo carrier on this saddle is marked with an “RR” logo as well as “HAND MADE BY ***E. McNAB***”. I don’t have a ton of info on this saddle other than what I can see, and there does NOT appear to be a serial number…that that I found anyway. I am not familiar with western saddle makers other than the best known ones such as Circle Y, but this is an incredibly nice saddle that is easily as nice as or nicer than vintage Circle Y saddles I’ve owned…it’s really a wonderful piece! The seat measures about 15.5” but I was told by the previous owner that it rides a little larger, so this saddle will likely work for someone looking for a 16” seat. As far as the gullet, I was a little unsure of where to measure for the gullet size, so please see the last picture with red lines to indicate where I measured—the top line for the gullet is about 5.25” across (maybe 5.33”), the second line for the gullet is 7.25” across and the third for the bar width is 12” across. I’m not sure what kind of tree is in this saddle, but it has a look and feel that is sort of similar to roughout leather, if that helps identify it at all, and this saddle weighs approximately 33lbs. This lovely saddle is a beautiful mahogany brown in color with beige fleece lining and it comes complete with a really nice Tex Tan off billet and a nice but well-used cinch strap (which shows a lot of aged cracking). This stunning saddle has a ton of uniquely gorgeous detailing: the edges of the skirt and pommel are wrapped in contrastingly lighter brown CALFSKIN that has SILVER LACING for a stunning effect; the back of the cantle has silver lacing (no contrasting calfskin) as well as an ALPACA SILVER nameplate which is not yet engraved; the braided rawhide horn also has an inset Alpaca silver cap and there is plenty of other beautiful Alpaca silver accenting; this saddle is absolutely beautiful tooled with a stunning floral design and a really neat aspect is that the skirts have large cutouts with inset BLACK SUEDE and large Alpaca silver pieces. The stirrups are super cool because they have RAISED BLACK SUEDE panels which are rounded and SILVER LACED. This gorgeous saddle has been lovingly cared for and properly stored over the years, so it’s in GREAT SHAPE!! It has absolutely no obvious or serious flaws and simply shows the typical, mild signs of use and breaking in, such as some darkening, discoloration, some smoothing/surface wear of the suede seat, some slight matting of the fleece, some tarnishing of the silver, white paint marks on the stirrups as well as wear to the feet, ect. It’s really in beautiful condition! PLEASE NOTE: the stirrup hobbles are missing and will need to be replaced, but this is a $5 fix…ALSO, this saddle has a mild smoke smell to it from being stored in the previous owners basement, which has faded quite a bit since cleaning it, but it’s still somewhat present, although I would imagine it will quickly fade once put into use again. This is a FABULOUS saddle that you absolutely won’t want to miss out on! Any questions, just ask! Be sure to check out my many other listings for tons of great horsey deals!KEEP IN MIND - Please keep in mind that all items not described as new are being sold AS IS. I don’t take returns and I ask bidders to read the whole description and carefully overview the photos. Don’t hesitate to ask questions. I want all bidders to understand that many of my items are used, and quite possibly have very minor or insignificant defects that I’ve missed or didn’t specify in the listing. Don’t expect a used item to be free of flaws unless I describe it so. Please have realistic expectations when purchasing pre-owned items.FEEDBACK – PLEASE READ BEFORE LEAVING FEEDBACK – VERY IMPORTANT! Feedback is very important to me, and the difference between you leaving me a positive or a negative can make or break my account. I want happy customers. I want you to feel like you would shop with me in the future, and would feel comfortable recommending me to friends and family. I try to take a lot of good clear pictures from different angles for you, but if you would like more pictures just ask!COMBINED SHIPPING - Combined shipping is available! The prices have gone up; therefore I quote higher than it actually may be. I will refund the difference in price upon shipment, but I do expect the winning bidder, if from outside the U.S., to pay the quoted charge. Also, sometimes I quote too low, in which case I expect the buyer to pay the difference in the quoted and the actual charge. I AM NOT responsible for any customs fees or charges incurred upon the arrival of the package in the receiving country. I have NO control over this and am not responsible or liable for any costs.
