Crosby Centennial Close Contact Saddle 16-1/2" seat hand measured from the middle of the nail head next to the pommel to the middle/back of the cantle. M stamped on the stirrup bar indicates medium tree. Fits a generous medium/wide. Gullet measures 4-3/4" under the pommel from panel to panel where the panels begin. Purchased as a medium and may fit up to medium/wide.Nice wide channel from front to back down the underside providing comfort for the horse. Wide padded seat provides a comfort for the rider.The flap measures 14" from the top/middle of the stirrup bar in a straight line to the bottom of the flap.Front blocks under the padded flaps. The pretty, two-tone supple leather is in clean condition. Tree is strong and sound. Billets are in very good condition. Panels under the saddle are even and smooth. All nail heads and metal are shiny and clean. This saddle belonged to a private show barn in Ocala, Fl. and was briefly used for showing before the owners retired and sold the farm. It was purchased by its second owner a year ago and only used for a few shows. Kept in air conditioned storage in the home, not the stable. :) Ready to take out of the box when it arrives and take to a show.
