This is a Rare Han Dynasty horse bit. It is made of bronze and is at least thousand years old. The length of this bit is 7.5 inches, the weight of this bit is 5.5 oz.  The Han dynasty (Chinese: 漢朝; pinyin: Hàn cháo) was the second imperial dynasty of China, preceded by the Qin dynasty (221–207 BC) and succeeded by the Three Kingdoms period (220–280 AD). Spanning over four centuries, the Han period is considered a golden age in Chinese history.  During Han Dynasty, the horse bit has developed tremendously through different innovative design.
