I'm selling this one of a kind vintage Powell Peralta Steve Caballero skateboard deck.
This deck is beautifully framed in a complementary natural wood colored shadow box with blue trim against a black background. It is a work of art in itself.
The deck itself has been well ridden but the rider decorated it with stickers from the era. I believe this was the first design issued by Powell Peralta for the Steve Caballero line. Google Steve Caballero if you don't know who he is. He was named Skater of the Century by Thrasher magazine. He came up with Tony Hawk in the Venice Beach area. The stickers include Thrasher Magazine being held by the dragon, 7seconds, NECROS, Vision, Transworld Skateboarding Magazine, Minor Threat (band), Powell "Bones" skeleton, and a few others.I tried to verify the provenance of the piece but I was unable to. I don't know if this was originally owned/ridden by someone famous but I think it is significant as it is framed. This piece came out of an art gallery in Dallas.Shipping is free via FEDEX.
