Lightweight Gaited Saddle by Pam's Place TackSaddles designed by Pam and custom made exclusively for Pam's Place Tack. Built on a gaited "Evolution" tree by Ed Steele that is slightly flexible. The Evolution tree will slightly mold to the horses back warms up. 16" seat with a wide 7" gullet and 12" swell. Flared front will accommodate the broad shouldered horse and short 25" skirt will also work well for the short-backed horse. In-skirt rigging that is set back slightly to allow freer movement in the gaited horse breeds. D ring in the back allows you to rig to most any position. This model weighs 22-24 pounds. High quality leather with silver conchos and light border tooling in Aztec pattern. Black suede seat with a Cheyenne roll and genuine Nettles brand stirrups that have been turned for comfort and easy access to stirrups. The stirrup fenders are made of a new material that is being used in many of the high end lightweight saddles on the market today. This material is called "Wax Wear". It is very durable and lightweight and repels water. This makes it easy to care for and allows the rider to cross deep waters and not have the worry of ruining the fenders. We had this saddle built to form a nice deep seat with a narrow twist. We have added lots of strings for all your saddle bags. Made in the USA with excellent quality leather from American Leather Direct. Steele brand trees are assembled in a set-up jig which positions and holds parts in correct alignment for assembly guaranteeing every tree to be the same every time virtually eliminating out-of-square or level and incorrectly measured trees. This is excellent quality and workmanship. You won't find a saddle built as well for this price. This model is $1.395.00. We have demo saddles that you can try prior to purchase.
