We haven't made any of these in a couple years for ebay. This is usually a custom made saddle This saddle is not made by a production worker. It is custom made by master craftsman with over 40 year of saddle making experience. We have made this quality saddle for ranchers and work hands throughout the west. We have also produces a few saddles for the cowboys on the HBO series "Deadwood" I don't know how much longer we will offer saddles of this quality, for this price. That meas is close to 1/4" thick and more. We use only full grain quality leather. If you are not familiar with the term "full grain"........google it.Its the best quality surface finish of leather available. Not filled, not shaved, not sanded...chosen for its smooth natural quality.The is a flaw in the leather of the seat. You can see it in picture 3. Its a natural scar commonly found in leather this thick. This thick leather come from an older steer and they usually have more natural flaws and many deep scars. I dont believe it will ever effect the use of this saddle because the leather is so thick. Make an offer of $800. and I will automatically accept. If your are not happy you can return for a refund.
