Very Nice Henry Miller Old Timer Saddle, nice large roomy comfy seat, very well padded and suspended for the ultimate ride. Wide tree fits a variety of horses well. Flairs at front for comfort and gaited horses movement. Upgraded conchos, leather latigo strings, stitched seat, and tooling, ez glide endurance stirrups. English leathers and fender but western centerfire rigging, best of both worlds. Nice chestnut color with upgrade floral tooling. 6.5 inch gullet. This is the most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden in, with the suspended seat. and the english leathers so you don’t have to fight western fenders. Pocket suede seat for security on the trail. Quality saddle, through and through. Saddle retails with upgrades for $1200 without the quality latigos and cinch, and you would have a long wait. It is in excellent condition, however it has been ridden in and there are some scratches and wear on the fender from the stirrup leather as can easily be seen in the pictures. Light suede seat has light soiling, I have provided pictures showing this other than that it is a lovely saddle, I hate to sell it, but I sold the horse it was purchased for and used on so time to let someone else enjoy it, perfect timing for the riding season ahead. Included in the package is a 26 inch Alpaca and Mohair western girth, barely used, but it has been used and it does have palomino horse hair on it, quality supple leather latigos and Chestnut off billet. Saddle is ready to ride from the time you take it out of the box with this package. Well made safe saddle built with yours and the horses comfort in mind. Saddle is 4 years old to the best of my knowledge and has always been well maintained. Built on the suspended seat, riders are securely positioned in this saddle in a posture that allows a natural balanced legs straight down from the hips position (as opposed to the dashboard posture). The western fenders on this saddle are loosely hung however, therefore allowing the rider to position their legs in whatever position they need. You can build this saddle with english fenders and stirrup leathers as well if you desire the freedom of stirrup leathers. Note in the photos the high pommel that would allow for a high-withered horse.Weighing in at 25 lbs, the Old TImer comes in two trees: the standard tree (full quarter) and XWide, a flatter bar but the same 6.5 gullet opening. All options are available on this saddle. As each model of the Miller Saddle was being designed a lot of consideration was placed on the comfort of the rider and their horses. One feature which allows your legs greater flexibility while also easing the pressure on your knees was to move the stirrups forward allowing them to swing more freely. The next feature was to add a suspended center ground seat that adds extra cushion where it really counts, your seat! and last but not least a saddle tree that allows for good shoulder movement.
