Thanks!PLEASE NOTE: MORE PICTURES ARE AVAILABLE UPON REQUESTFor sale is a super nice and wonderful quality Swiss COURBETTE LEMETEX “CHARLES DE KUNFFY GRAND PRIX” dressage saddle! This beautiful saddle is extremely well made in Germany by Lemetex/Courbette and it is the CHARLES DE KUNFFY GRAND PRIX model. This saddle has an 18” seat and the gullet is 31cm—it measures approx. 5.5” (please see picture for location of measurement). One of the billet covers is stamped with the numbers “250498 2 31” which is the serial number for this saddle and the “31” stands for the tree size. This lovely saddle is a unique and beautiful two-tone color. The leather is exquisitely soft, pre-shrunk "Schrumpfleder" which transmits an unsurpassed comfort and security. This specially treated leather shrugs off water and is impervious to scratches and abrasions! This saddle is built on Courbette’s exclusive "Federbaum" spring tree that features a low pommel, semi cut-back head and recessed stirrup bars. This saddle also features d-rings on one side of the seat, padded skirts, semi-large anatomically sculpted thigh blocks and padded knee rolls, billet covers and triple billets (one of which is short). This saddle has been used—not too much though—and is overall in EXCELLENT CONDITION! I do not know if the saddle was originally this color or if it’s the result of fading (absolutely no dye bled while cleaning it so I would think it is NOT due to fading), so I am excluding this factor when saying its in excellent condition—please keep this in mind. This saddle simply shows the typical, mild signs of fairly light use, such as some mild discoloration and darkening, mild surface wear in “high traffic” areas, mild surface wear and rub marks on the flaps from the stirrup leathers, ect. THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO OVERLY OBVIOUS FLAWS TO MENTION. The tree is completely sound and very solid, the flocking is excellent and the billet are excellent as well. **NO RETURNS so please read description and view all pictures. Any questions, just ask!
