In fact, it wasn't even isolated in pure form until the 1820’s. Capable of replacing twice it’s weight in steel with equal strength, aluminum is used virtually everywhere weight and strength are critical. The 6061-A31 sets a new benchmark in personal lighting, with higher output and longer battery life than any light comparable in weight and size. Taking advantage of aluminum’s natural heat dissipating properties, we've engineered the A31 platform to be perfectly balanced with an ergonomic design that fits comfortably in the hand. Functionality is enhanced with a zoom lens to adjust between a wide angle, or narrow long-throw beam.
