DESCRIPTION: Offered to you is this Very Rare vintage 1953 Russian hardcover book – HORSE BREEDS WITHIN THE SOVIET UNION. It describes the best horses within the Soviet Union with color pictures and detailed pedigree trees. In total 39 breeds are described in the following order – Elite, Riding, Lightweight, Work and Local horses. 130 pages with 60 color prints. Each breed is followed in details, its origin, dimensions etc. The family tree of record holding race horses is featured, including the years and names of races they won. Their future generations are also catalogued. Colossal work printed in only 25,000 copies. Very few of them survived in such good condition till today. Very Rare and much sought after book that would proudly take its place in any collection. Size: 16 1/2" x 10 1/2". Scarce and highly collectable item. SHIPPING:
