This 176g disc featuring a black logo is new never thrown and may have normal storage wear. This is the only example I have ever seen and would love further information. Recently, I had a HOFer disc golfer tell me the skinny on this disc and is as follows: This is the same disc as the Puppy Golf Disc, it is not a Super Puppy. It is my understanding that DGA purchased the rights of production of the Puppy from Ben-Wal Plastics, Inc.. DGA added there logo on the bottom and changed the name of the disc from Puppy to Kitty Hawk Driver, which was produced from 1982 to 1983. Then the mold was changed to produce the Kitty Hawk Hooker and the Sureshot.
Since the mold was changed to add the DGa logo, what you have is a Kitty Hawk Driver(which is the same mold as the original Puppy) with the rare and highly collectable 1983 Shuttle Hot Stamp. Your disc is much rarer then the super puppy, which was produced and sold by Detiny Discs after DGA became the producer and seller of what used to be called the Puppy.Since your disc was only made between 1982 and 1983, it is much rarer then the very popular Super Puppy. Shipping on multiple single disc items paid in one payment- 5.00 for the first item and add 2.00 for each additional item- buyer is responsible for making adjustment. My experience comes from the following: First, i owned the concession at one of the busiest disc golf parks in the world- Marymoore Searight park in Austin, Texas for 5 years and was the course pro. Second, i have sold discs though ebay since october 2002 and sold to every state in the U. S. and in many other countries. Third, i travelled and sold discs in person in TX, AL, LA, TN, KY, MI, NY, ME, IA, NE, KS, CO, NM, CA, NV, OK, GA and IL.
