For sale with * No Reserve * but with lots of regret is my beautiful Marechal canvas cotton frame tent! If your looking for the nicest tent of this type, you have found it! This tent has been carefully stored inside the home way more than its been used and consequently is in beautiful condition. The tent comes in 4 bags ( could be 2 bags but to lighten the weight for moving around Iv split the load a bit ). There is the poles, the tent, the curtains, roof liner and bedrooms. No condensation in this natural cotton tent - with a roof liner to ensure absolute dryness. Cotton canvas is a natural fabric as opposed to nylon / polyester and as such reacts with the environment. Being dry stored has meant that when pitching the tent the material seems tighter than it should be pegging out around the base. But after 24hours this sorts itself as the fabric opens up. To make pegging easier I have included branded new ladder type rubbers which allow you to easily vary the tension around the base of the tent. The tent is in super condition as are the poles - except for 2 broken Spring Links - these only keep the poles together in the bag - they don't affect the poles when the tent is up. Possibly one of the nicest and most practical canvas cotton frame tents on the market and with a beautiful colour to it - certainly stands out on a campsite littered with polyester green & blue high street / go outdoors type tents! The entire front of this tent ( or individual panels ) can all be rolled right up creating a beautiful cotton canopy to sit under in the evening & enjoy a meal & drinks under like a large pergola. There is a ventilated kitchen area ( cooking with gas is safe with this tent! - it's designed for it )!. This tent, correctly stored ( dry ) will last a lifetime - the construction quality is 1st class. The cotton fabric is silent in the wind & doesn't rustle like a crisp packet / polyester tent. These tents are on a par in quality with their rival maker, Cabanon, also a continental brand and of superb quality. If your looking for a beautiful, individual tent that stands out on the campsite, look no further! It's not brand new, it's been used but is in really lovely condition.
