~14" Vintage Handmade GEORGE LAWRENCE Western Roping Saddle~
Saddle was made in the late 40's early 50's at the George Lawrence Company Saddle Shop in Portland, Oregon. Featuring a slick style seat with bear trap pommel and high cantle. Comfortable seat that sits you deep and secure. Wrapped horn for roping. Built on rawhide covered tree. Gullet measures 6"....Semi QH bar...25" skirt...3-1/2" high cantle and weights 33 pounds. This is a well made saddle, made to last and do a job!! If you are looking for a saddle to break colts or work on the ranch, this saddle is the ticket!! It may be old, but it is SOLID and the leather is in great shape. It's hard to find a Lawrence saddle in this condition that can go right back to work. I normally ride in a 15" seat and this saddle fits me perfect. Saddle comes with a newer leather billet strap and off billet. Saddle shows normal nicks and scratches from being used. Put this saddle to work or add it to your collection!! You will appreciate the quality!! Be sure to see all 12 pictures and ask questions.
