Lichfield Vermont 4 Frame tentHere is a modern take on the traditional cotton canvas frame tent.  This has a cotton outer with splash proof pvc grey skirt and a polycotton inner with a polyethylene groundsheet.  The outer is a nice mid blue, with a light grey roof to reflect the heat.  It was bought new about 8 years ago but has remained unused, save for being pitched when bought and now again for selling purposes.  It really is about as new as you could get if you drove to the factory for it!It is a compact frame tent which divides 60:40 between bedroom and living area.  The overall measurements are 12' (3.65m) wide 8'6" (2.60m) deep with a maximum height of 7' (2.1m).  The bedroom pod is 7'10" (2.40m) wide by 6'4" (1.95m) deep and with ample standing space for an average height adult. The bedroom pod is fully sewn in groundsheeted with a double zipped door and has a removable divider sheet to separate it into two halves.  Thus it can be used to accommodate 4 persons (2x2 ), but remove the separator sheet (4 toggles) and you have a large enough bedroom for glamping for one or two.The living area has a large curtained window in the side with a ventilated mesh panel above and to the front is the double zipped stable door, which can be opened as either a window top half or door. The steel poles have separate corner sections, so the pole bag is not so bulky and awkwardly packed; the poles all spring together in length and are fitted to the corner sections by sprung dots which have adjustment holes so you can maintain the correct tension.  It is all made very easy because there are original printed instructions and all the poles are consistently colour coded.  I put this up on my own today and working methodically around it, omitting a few pegs but fitting the bedroom pod and curtains, it took me just short of 22 minutes.  If I did it again I would be down nearer to 15 minutes, so no time at all.It packs away quite small into two very manageable zipped holdall bags, which are neither massively bulky nor overly heavy.  The peg'n'pole bage weighs 9kgs and measures 75 x 20 x 20 cms; the tentage bag weighs 12kgs and measures 78 x 33 x 20 cms. They fit easily into the boot of my old Golf, with room to spare.Collection from Kettering for cash preferred, but I am quite happy to send it by courier.
