Used 2010 Beval Butet. Very good condition, always cleaned after (almost) every ride. Leather is beautiful and soft. Recently oiled. A very comfortable saddle and I am sad to let it go! My horse's back has changed and it no longer fits him. It is marked extra wide and measures 4.5" at the fuzzy buttons. It fits horses with warmblood or QH builds very well. I used it on warmbloods and some big boned thoroughbreds. If your horse has low withers that are also wide, this Butet is for you! The seat measures 17.5" and the saddles is stamped 17.25 for the seat size. The flap is stamped 1.5 and measures 13" from the stirrup bar to the bottom edge. I am 5'7" and 140lbs and it fit me great in seat and from hip to knee.I recently had a Butet saddle fitter look at the saddle and she loved it! She told me it was a very rare Butet and very valuable because it is extra wide and it has a French tree (Butets now feature English trees only).
