Rare Tilley AL16 Track Stand inspection lamp which was in use at Bluntisham Railway Station in Cambridgeshire prior to closure in 1964, the AL16 is an AL15 lamp on a track stand, the AL15 is not that rare but the track stand is quite scarce, most, if not all, AL15 lamps have the cut out for the stand to be fitted. The lamp is in fantastic condition, it has a Mica shade which is in very good condition, there is a mantle fitted but I do not know if it is the correct one or not, the tank is Brass and is in very good condition, the stand and the wooden handle are in great condition, the handle is a beautiful piece of wood. It stands 20 inches high, 14 inches front to back and 10 inches wide at the base. It is available for collection from Doncaster or I will post worldwide. Any questions please ask.
