There is more information at ashardingknives. about this and other knives.This knife has turned out beautifully. I made it with two of the Bog woods, Yew and Oak. Carbon dated to 5300 years old this wood has come from the Bogs in south east England.A very strong truly hand made Razor sharp "woodlore style" bushcraft knife made with 4mm 01 Sheffield tool steel that has been hardened to 59 Rockwell.It has a Bog Yew and Oak handle with brass and copper fittings and epoxy for extra bonding and a brass lanyard hole.There are dark green fiber liners.The sheath totally hand cut and stitched, tailored and shaped for this knife, with very thick Saddle quality leather, I have put two bands to strengthen it and I have hand tooled some decoration.It is 22cm long with an 10.8 cm blade, it has a true scandi grind.I have given this knife a hand rubbed satin finish as it has been made for hard Bushcraft use.Made here in my workshop in northern England.This is a working tool and I guarantee its performance and use for bushcraft, should my workmanship fail I would replace it.There are reviews on youtube for A S Harding knife.
