This is a custom Ralph Shimon wade ranch saddle. It was made in Bush, Colorado. It is in excellent shape and Mr. Shimon is retiring from saddle making after approximately 50 years. The entire saddle is smooth leather. It has the adjustable rigging and a matching, wide back cinch. The overall skirt length is 26 1/2 inches, the horn has a 4 1/8 inch diameter, the stirrups are leather covered with a 4 inch tread, and the cantle is approximately 4 1/2 inches tall with a rawhide Cheyanne roll. The wool is thick and in excellent condition. The horn and tree are tight. There is no front girth.
