Wonderful Suprema Quality Syd Hill Saddle.
Please look closely at all the photos for more complete information. I bought this a few years ago from the original owner who had Custom ordered it from Syd Hill.
The tree is Syd's standard Stylecast medium tree designed to fit American horses of various breeds which it does very nicely! I've used this saddle on a small frame mustang, a stocky APHA paint, and previously it was used on a Tennessee Walker by the owner who rode many trail miles in this remarkable saddle. I ride both a 15 or 16" Western saddle and This one is a very nice fit. It is a 17" Aussie measurement but Syd Hill built their saddles roomier than most, and the Comfort is unequaled. No knee pain, it's a dream for long rides. The rigging is Dressage style. The billets are heavier and wider than on English Dressage saddles. To solve the problem I took (and it's included) a Good Aussie 33" Girth and just removed the over girth strap, thereby creating a perfectly useable dressage style girth! This Syd has been well kept,the leather is butter soft and even the flaps and fenders are wonderfully pliable and So comfy. The Custom stitching is beautiful..I can't say enough about how nice this one is. Everything is in ready to work condition. weight is 30#. I will insure for the purchase price. Questions?
