Classic four-season tent from The North Face, the Westwind was the two-man version in the same series as the VE-25. These were standard equipment in Antarctica for the United States Antarctic Program, see: http://quest.arc.nasa.gov/antarctica/background/NSF/field-guide/manual11.html This one is in immaculate barely-used condition, no fading or degradation of the siliconized fly-sheet, no holes anywhere in the ground sheet, upper tent or flusheet, the Easton poles are in A1 condition and even the alloy pegs are all straight. Original instruction manual, flysheet seams siliconized as per manufacturers recommendation. Unused North face Westwind footprint included – unmarked, perfect, made to fit this specific tent and protect the already tough base of the tent on particularly unforgiving ground. Tent, all contents, + footprint weigh 3.4 kg, reflected in postage cost, but local pickup welcome.
