Built from 1975-1980, Segen Pax was a company based out of Portland, OR. Handmade from high quality materials, this pack is made from heavy duty canvas and very nice leather. The frame and the thatching on the backside of the frame were all crafted by hand as well. Only 200 of these packs were ever built, and they are extremely rare. I purchased this pack, but would love for it to go to a true outdoorsman or vintage lover to either be used or hang in their den to continue to tell the story and gain appreciation for Segen Pax and the high quality craftsmanship that went into building it and the rich heritage that is so easily lost by run of the mill production packs.
