1970's Vintage HEAD HONCHO Skateboard Deck by Northwest Skateboards"Rob Leshgold Model"* Impossible to find * WOW! I used to skate in the 70's and 80's and have held onto this deck since then. I skated on several Head Honcho boards at the time but saved one without using it (note: no drill holes)I believe this to be from 1978 or 1979.This board is in excellent shape but does have minorimperfections just from storing it through 35+ years. *** See photos ***(More photos available on request)This is an extremely rare piece of Canadian skateboard history!!!I personally guarantee that this board is original!!!I bought it way back in the day when I was skating in Vancouver, B.C. at such spots asthe Nelson Park 20ft halfpipe , Seylynn skatepark in North Vancouver, andthe indoor Skatepark called Skateboard Palace in Burnaby, B.C.Also: please see attached pictures of ads from Skateboarder Magazine that I was able to findon the internet regarding this make of board and few other photos I found. These boards are so rare it's hard to find any info on them these days.
