Canvas & Leather Circa late 1970's
This is a vintage canoe portage pack measuring approximately 27" x 26" when laid flat. This bag is made in the traditional Poitier style for canoe camping trips. The bag is constructed with thick canvas, solid leather straps and anchor points, copper rivets, and a green plastic/rubber lined interior bottom. See pictures. It also has one interior compartment as shown.
This pack is in excellent condition for its age as we only used it for about 4 trips to the BWCA. Solid craftsmanship overall. Stored in a smoke-free environment since. Shipping in the US only.
