The Montane Black Ice 2.0 Jacket Engineered for extreme conditions, possessing a down-blend consisting of high quality goose down and PRIMALOFT® synthetic fill fibres.
Brand new for the coming winter, the Black Ice 2.0 incorporates 250g of PrimaLoft Gold Down Blend, a hyrbid mix of synthetic and water resistant goose down. The quality of goose implemented by Montane allows the jacket to retain heat whilst simultaneously providing a barrier against inclement weather conditions. Supplemented with a FREEFLOW® Ultralite 38g/m² outer shell possessing superb waterproofing capabilities, the jacket works super efficiently at keeping the wearer both warm and dry. Working to enhance the performance elements of the jacket, a PEAQ Down lining that is super comfortable next to skin, also combines high levels of breathability and fast drying properties. Successively, the jacket keeps your internal environment forever prepared for action. The classic boxwall construction employed throughout the main body of the performance apparell eliminates cold spots. FREEFLOW technology further aids the water repelling cause, featuring inside the hood and lower hem for additional protection. Again, articulated arms help to prevent the cold from intruding, preventing lift when reaching. Features of the jacket include full length baffled two way YKK VISLON® zips allowing the wearer to remove or don the jacket with ease and manipulate the level of ventilation it affords as per their requirements. To make the entire jacket more durable, Montane have added an extra layer of PRIMALOFT protection over the high wearing areas such as the shoulders, hood top and forearms. This enables the jacket to withstand the weight of and friction of backpacks and roughness of any terrain.
