Terra Nova Quasar Mountain Tent - UK designed and made. Often copied, never bettered classic expedition shelter. Bought in 2005 with Endurance fabric flysheet, and used for one two week overseas expedition and four or five Scottish forays - as you can see, very little signs of wear! I mainly use a tarp and bivy bag combo when trekking now, so selling reluctantly to pay for repairs to the family car :-(.these are the tents you will see on any mountain campsite in the world, and for good reason - they can cope with conditions that other tents simply can't. This tent will literally save your life!Terra Nova Quasar specific groundsheet protector to prevent holes and add another layer of waterproofing to the sewn in bathtub groundsheetTerra Nova aluminium pegs upgraded to Alpkit Spikes tent pegs to cope with hard ground. Peg bag has a small hole in, repaired by gaffa tapeOrtlieb Drybag to store and carry the tent in - a tad heavier than the original tent bag, but much easier to pack, plus it's waterproof!Geodesic freestanding design can be pitched without guying out if you need to (very useful in rocky terrain), plus it provides the maximum useable space inside. It was raining outside when i took the photos, and I was able to pitch inside (the log's not included though, sorry!) to demonstrate how versatile this tent can be.Two entrances give flexibility in and out and lots of storage space.there's a 2 - 3 month waiting list for Terra Nova to make these tents new for £550, so grab a bargain.Thanks for looking, please ask any questions and look at my other items.PLEASE NOTE: I will be away from 23rd - 30th July, so if prompt payment is made, I will post out before I go.
