Quechua air beam (inflatable) 4 man tent with sky light opening and 2 side vents in the sleeping area.
Tent has 2 beams that need to be inflated and one pole that supports the porch area. Comes complete with spare valve and pole as shown in pictures. This has only been used for 3 weekends away so in great condition but has been used so shows small signs of use. I always clean before packing away. Selling as I have just bought a larger Quechua tent. Pump not included as I also use it for the air bed, we use a hand pump from Argos that cost £7 and inflates each beam in around 30-60 seconds. http://youtu.be/emEQ2lUm8EU DETAILS Dimensions Bedroom 240 cm x 205 cm. Living area: 240 cm x 180 cm max and 170 cm min. Max living space headroom: 145cm. Cover 58 cm x 38 cm x 18 9,6cm carry case with compression straps. Weight of tent 9.6 kg Short trips Basin groundsheet that can be flattened around the doorway. 2 plastic windows. Pockets on the outside of the bedroom. Thermal insulation The 'Fresh' flysheet material is exclusive and patented. It noticeably reduces heat in a tent exposed to the full sun, thanks to its reflective and low emission properties. It has 3 layers: The polyester fabric has titanium dioxide coating and a layer of aluminised coating on the inside. The fabric reflects 56% of the sun's energy, absorbs 35% and only lets 9% inside the tent. Ventilation 1 vent at the back of the bedroom. The flysheet fabric over the bedroom can be rolled up to see the sky. 2 ventilation positions on the sides of the bedroom: closed, open (attached to the stays and still protected from rain). The side ventilation can be adjusted from inside and outside. The entrance door has an upper part which can be turned into a mosquito net. Ventilation limits condensation. Pitching/folding Very quick and easy to pitch and fold down. The "all-in-one" structure uses inflatable arches. Once the 4 corners of the ground sheet have been laid out and fixed, simply inflate the 2 arches using a hand pump (not included). The pole over the top of the side door is set up by fitting a fibreglass pole under the flysheet of the living area. Waterproofing Like all Quechua tents, special care has been given to the waterproofing, which has been verified in lab tests (WHOLE TENT tested under 200 litres of water/hour/sqm!) and on field tests. -- Polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet -- Seams sealed using thermobonded tape -140 5000g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet 5000mm resistance. Wind resistance We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel and on a rotating plate to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly assembled tent with all the stays in position around the tent should remain habitable;e under wind speeds measuring 50 km/h at ground level. Structure 3 layer inflatable arch structure: 1 TPU "air chamber", 1 polyethylene cover with a zip and 1 sheath to keep the arch in the fly sheet. The door canopy uses one fibreglass pole. Tent pegs Excellent twisting resistance (5 mm steel).
