Need I say more... The Mountain Laurel Designs Trailstar almost has a cult following, a proven design hand made by one of the best outdoor manufactures in the world. If you are into lightweight camping gear you already know about the Trailstar, for those who are new to the scene I suggest you do some research online for reviews on this amazing shelter. Quality handmade in the UK, with this option you get full bug protection and a ground sheet without sacrificing too much space. Can be used alone in the summer with good weather. Oookworks website: http://www.oookworks.com/2OookStar.htmlWhen paired together you get bomber weather protection, and no bugs!This was the first lightweight shelter I bought and it has served me very well, I have since had the luck of earning a bit more cash and the bad luck of going deeper down the ultralight gear rabbit hole and spending it on very expensive cuben fiber shelters. Now with two other cuben fibre shelters in my gear arsenal the Trailstar and Oookworks inner just doesn't get the use it deserves. The Trailstar has been seem sealed, ( I was a little bit messy but it is waterproof), it has been used about 20 times and always been exceptionally well taken care of. It is in really good condition, no rip, tears, or repairs and still looks like new. The Oooworks two person inner has been used even less about 5 or so times and is practically brand new. Together they are a fantastic modular set up for lightweight camping and very spacious. Use the Trailstar or the Oooknest inner on their own depending on the weather or together for the ultimate shelter. Comes complete with:-MLD Silnylon Trailstar seamsealed-All guy lines and stakes needed. 5 x9" Easton stakes and 5x 6" Titanium Skewer stakes. - Silnylon stuff sacks for the Trailstar, Tent stakes, and the Oooknest inner- Oooknest 2 person inner with cuben fiber walls for greater weight reduction Total set up brand new costs 480GBP plus shipping and import tax.
