Description
Brand: The Australian Stock Saddle Co. Model: Survivor Poley Mark II
UPC: Does not apply

Beautiful all leather saddle made by the Australian Stock Saddle Co. from Malibu, CA. I recently purchased this saddle and sadly it does not fit my horse. Therefore, I am listing it for sale. It was purchased new 3 years ago in 2013 by the previous owner and has had light use. There are some rub marks from normal use. Everything is in working order and comes complete with the tackaberry girthing system. The underside is genuine sheepskin.   I was told this saddle was used on stocky quarter horses and a rocky mountain. It would fit a horse built broad through the shoulder. It is just a bit too wide for the narrow withers on my horse. HOWEVER, Saddle tree can be adjusted by sending it back to the company with a wither tracing of your horse. Directions for doing this are on the company website. Please refer to the photos for actual measurements.   The leather in this saddle is soft, well maintained and top quality. This particular model is part of the Aussie Leather collection. It comes equipped with numerous rings for attaching your gear and a rear cinch D for attaching a back cinch or using the center-fire rigging tackaberry (included). This is perfect for trail riding as it holds down both the front and the rear of the saddle. The seat is web suspended which means it is extremely comfortable and holds you in place for long hours in the saddle. You are suspended, rather than sitting on something hard.   The saddle comes equipped with a horn which is a $100 option. It also has western fenders which can easily be replaced with Australian campdraft leathers or regular English leathers. The stirrups are as shown in the pictures.   Following is information directly from the website   4 ¾” knee pads (poleys), 5” dip, web-suspended seat, adjustable timber and aluminum tree.   Retail price $1795 + $100 for horn = $1895 + shipping Girth $49 Tackaberry rigging $55 – read about it here:   TOTAL VALUE        $1,999 + shipping   Please refer to all pictures for measurements and condition. Please ask any questions! Thank you for looking.
