This has culminated in a 3 person, inner first pitch, fully geodesic tent with an added front porch. Featuring Yunan UL poles, a heavy duty 70D Nylon flysheet, expedition doors, gear loops in the inner tent, and the ability to internally guy for extra strength. The feedback from international mountain athletes has contributed to the creation of this outstanding expedition tent that will stand up to any extremes.The XPD 3 is a 3-man geodesic dome tent that is pitched inner first. It features a breathable 3-man inner tent with ripstop nylon groundsheet for durability and a double layer door (nylon and mesh) to maximize ventilation.The frame is made with Yunan ultralite alloy poles that cross is at least 4 locations for geodesic strength. The front porch is also geodesic as the front pole crosses over the geodesic structure allowing it to stand up to a battering.The flysheet is 70D siliconised ripstop with 5000mm hydrostatic head waterproofness. There are two entrances at either end of the flysheet to allow the users to enter the tent away from the prevailing weather and also exit the tent directly from the inner.The front porch is 120cm deep so ideal for kit storage and brewing up those essential hot drinks. There's also a shorter rear vestibule for additional kit.
