This is a barely used 2016 Voltaire Stuttgart for sale. I am selling this saddle as I was not happy with the fit due to physical issues with the horse (she really needs a wool flocked or treeless saddle). I rode in this saddle for a month before sending it back to Voltaire for a panel change. I received the saddle back with brand new panels at the end of June 2016 and rode in it one time for 15 minutes before declaring the fit a no go for my horse.I ordered this saddle brand new in November 2015 and received it in February 2016. I sent the saddle back to Voltaire for a panel change in early June 2016 and received it back late June 2016. When the saddle was not in use it was taken home and stored in my house and was only ridden in a handful of times. It's been cleaned and conditioned after each ride. The seat and flaps have barely been broken in and the panels are brand new, as stated above.Specific details on the saddle are:Model: StuttgartYear: 2016Size: 17Flap: 2A (2 is standard length and A is forward) - if you haven't ridden in a Voltaire before, 2A is a good standard size. I'm 5'4, 125 lbs, with a long thigh for reference.Panels: PW (specially made wider panels for more contact with the horse laterally), PRO (made to fit a wider variety of horses), B15, D10Leather: Grain/CalfThe panels were made to fit two OTTBs with medium to high withers. My gelding with higher withers has plenty of clearance with this saddle. My mare (the harder to fit one) has medium-high withers and is built downhill and this saddle is balanced front to back on her nicely. Her asymmetry issues are what declared this a no go.I paid over $5k for this saddle brand new and waited months. Save yourself the money and the wait with this saddle that's almost brand new! Saddle comes with Voltaire leathers and saddle cover. Stirrups in picture are NOT included.
