This is a beautiful used saddle. It does have wear and scratches. The stains that appear to be water marks, are NOT water marks. I took this saddle to a saddle maker to see if I could remove these marks (right side of saddle) and what he said was that the manufacture sprays lacquer on the leather when made to make it shine, however, when I cleaned it with saddle soap and New Leather, the lacquer came off and appeared as water marks. He said there is nothing I can do about the marks except have the leather re-dyed. If you know saddles, this does not take away of how it is made. The saddle is well made, the sheepskin is in great condition and the tree is also excellent. This is merely cosmetic . Please note the pictures and zoom in to see marks. If you purchase a saddle off the rack from this manufacturer, unfortunately, this is what happens. Very disheartening!
I have barely used this saddle, approximately 10 times. It's a Cactus Saddlery Reining Saddle, with a 17" seat and full quarter horse bars. It weighs approximately 35-40 lbs. The front and back cinch goes with this saddle. The back cinch is made from leather. I bought this saddle new for $2200. I have recently purchased a Cutting Saddle and am looking to sell this one. It's sat in my tack room covered. The sheep skin is in perfect condition. This saddle is sold "as is". I will send you more pictures upon request. A note about my Ebay feedback, I haven't sold anything in a year, so you will need to click on "see all feedback" to see that I have 100% positive feedback a year ago and earlier.
