- Carry Case For Max output, quality high drain cells are highly recommend. Samsung 25R rechargeable li-ion cells are included (charger not included). It uses (4) dedomed XPL V6 (Top-Binned) LEDs that were cherry picked for the best tint (a little time-consuming, but worth it to get a nice beautiful tint without the awful green color so typical with dedomed LEDs). Yes, the stock light comes with XM-L2s, but XPLs give more output when driven harder. The PCB the LEDs are mounted on is a factory copper PCB from a TM16GT that I also modded. It's mounted using a generous amount of Arctic Silver thermal paste for the absolute best heat dissipation possible. Thick gauge silicone wires are used, and the carrier has been fully modded for ultra low resistance. The springs have been bypassed, and the reverse polarity protection diodes have been removed. Therefore, there is no reverse polarity protection. Be mindful that you load cells correctly:) It has dual programmable FET drivers from Mountain Electronics for awesome power and reliability. Each driver powers 2 of the 4 LEDs. Each driver operates independently, but in sync. Both buttons on this light do the same thing. In other words, it's really a one button flashlight, but you can use either button. A short tap switches the light on to the previously used mode, or off if the light is already on.
A press & hold while the light is on cycles through the modes in the selected mode group.
A press & hold while the light is off switches the light on in the first mode of the selected group.
A double-click from either off or on puts the light into the special designated mode in that particular mode group.
To switch mode groups: rapidly tap the switch 8 times from either off or on. The light will then enter the programming mode and begin to flash, reading out the battery charge state. With the light in programming mode, tap the switch the same number of times as your desired mode group. The light will blink and your mode group will be memorized. Example: To select mode group 3, tap the switch 8 times quickly to enter programming mode. When the light enters programming mode and beings flashing, tap the switch three times. The light will blink to recognize the mode group change. To set the turbo timer: rapidly tap the switch 8 times. The light will then enter the programming mode and begin to flash. With the light in programming mode, tap the switch 20 times to enter the turbo timer set mode. The light will then switch to 100% power. When the light is at the desired temperature for the turbo step down, turn the light off. The turbo timer will then be set. The turbo timer steps the light down to 50% regardless of the mode group set. To disable the turbo timer, simply set the time to under 4 seconds. The light can safely be ran on the highest modes until the head becomes too hot to hold. At the point the light needs to be throttled down to a lower level to allow it to cool.
