This is a really nice example of a old Visalia style saddle. Beautiful heavy built and hand tooled tapaderos. Classic pelican saddle horn with swells pitched slightly forward, hard seat with Cheyenne Roll which give this saddle the classic Visalia style. Although this saddle is unbranded it was obviously built by a master saddle maker. This saddle can be ridden or displayed or both. If you chose to ride this classic beauty it will require a fresh Latigo. Saddles of this era were built to last a lifetime, I believe the sheep skin lining is original and still in good condition, as is the rest of the saddle. I could go on forever about this saddle so please see pictures and details below.
