This is a VERY NICE saddle that is made by Princeville (has logo buttons) and though I have never heard of this brand, the quality is superb and this saddle is reminiscent of ANTARES (though not quite on the same level of quality). Though the design and style is very similar to Antares, I would say the quality is fairly equivalent to Toulouse or Ovation. I am sure the new owner will be thrilled with the quality, feel and comfort this gorgeous saddle offers. It even comes with a green and beige nylon zippered saddle bag/carrier!This is a CLOSE-CONTACT/JUMPING saddle with a 16.5” seat. The gullet measures approx. 6” so this saddle likely has a WIDE TREE—PLEASE SEE PICTURES FOR MEASUREMENT AS TREE SIZE IS EDUCATED ESTIMATE NOT A GUARANTEE. The flap measures approx. 13.75” from the top of the stirrup bar to the bottom of the flap. There does not appear to be a serial number stamped on this saddle.This stunning saddle features a VELVETY SOFT CALFSKIN TOP LAYER with buffalo hide undersides on the skirt and flaps, a a soft and inviting seat with a slightly squared cantle, lightly padded sections below the seat on the flaps, padded knee rolls, LARGE shaped knee blocks as well as thigh blocks for correct leg positioning, flocked panels, triple billets and billet covers. It looks as though this saddle was not used a ton, and its in EXCELLENT PREOWNED CONDITION! There is the expected amount of wear present for a saddle that’s been ridden in for (most likely) a couple months, though nothing at all that is beyond cosmetic. There is normal discoloration and color variation, surface wear/smoothing which is more present in “high traffic areas” such as the flaps from the leathers, normal wear to the billets, a small section on the bottom of the flap on one side where the stitching is gone (thread ends have been secured so this shouldn’t worsen—see closeups), ect. The tree is completely sound and solid, the flocking is EXCELLENT and the billets are great as well! Please check out all the many photos which will enlarge to show more on condition as part of description. **No returns as it is priced very fairly and takes a bunch of work to list, clean and pack.
