This is a full quarter horse barrel racing saddle. The saddle was made by H. King of Mannsville, Oklahoma, their model Number 3593. It is made on a rawhide covered Buster Welch tree, with a 15" seat. The leather on this saddle is still nice and supple, so it has a lot of life left in it.The gullet measures 7" wide. If you would like measurements of any particular spot, please let me know and I will be happy to measure for you. We put this saddle on a pretty muscular quarter horse the other day and it fit him very nicely. The bars are pretty flat behind the shoulder to accommodate for the muscle. Skirts are 26" long, the seat is 15", and the fenders have been cut down to fit someone about 5'6" tall. The saddle has a suede seat and roughout jockeys and fenders, basketweave spot tooling, and a hoof pick holder. "S. Harris" is stamped under one fender, and small amount of lacing on both stirrups is worn off (see photos).
