The 4 Man Arctic Tent is a robust military tent issued to the Royal Marines and Special Forces and was designed to withstand the harsh conditions of the Arctic environment. The tent has been in store for a number of years and although I have listed it as used most of the parts are new and were only taken out of the packaging for the photos.The flysheet and inner tent These are both new and unused. The flysheet is made of heavy duty waterproofed nylon with a porch and zipped entrance at both ends. Each porch is about a meter and allows sheltered access and plenty of room for the storage of gear and for cooking in inclement weather. As can be seen in the photos it is also possible to zip two flysheets together, almost doubling the size of the tent (9.2m approx.) either for additional accommodation or for the storage of gear.The inner tent is made of heavy duty white cotton/polyester, it has a 4 way zipped entrance/exit at both ends which also allows access to gear stored in the porch area. The liner is well vented to prevent the buildup of condensation and it has a sewn-in heavy duty bathtub type waterproof groundsheet. There is also a velcroed flap at each end of the groundsheet.The flysheet and inner can be erected together or flysheet first.Tent sizeFlysheet: Length 4.7m, width 2.2m, height 1.25m (approx).Inner tent: Length 2.7m, width 1.95m, height 1.15m (approx.).The tent comes complete with the following items:1 set of 13mm fiberglass poles plus 10 spare - a mixture of new and used. The ends of the poles have been taped for additional strength and protection 1 complete set of guy ropes and tensioning ropes plus 1 spare - all new 1 set of tent pegs/pins plus spare - all new1 bag for tent poles - used1 bag for tent pegs/pins - used1 compression bag for tent - newPlease note I have included photos of a second flysheet connected to the tent, this is for illustration purposes only.
