For your consideration is a one-of-a-kind Eagletac MX25L4 Turbo Super Thrower. It uses a top-binned dedomed XPG2 S4. It also retains the stock driver and User Interface. This light shoots a super intense beam from the perfectly centered LED emitter. This light is what I believe to be the most intense non-aspheric LED flashlight there is. I've spent a great deal of time, energy, and resources to refine the stock buck driver to reliably drive the XPG2 emitter that sits on a 32mm Noctigon with Direct Thermal Path mounted with Arctic Silver thermal paste. I've also modified a couple of Nitecore TM36 lights with both an XML2 and XPG2. While the TM36 is a great light, and aside from the ridiculous amount of work involved to mod, its reflector is inferior to Eagletac. Also, the TM36 driver cannot push an XP LED as hard as Eagletacs buck driver. Side by side, the MX25L4T with dedomed S4 XPG2 has a visually noticeable increase in beam intensity compared to the TM36 with a dedomed S4 XPG2. This purchase includes:
- MX25L4 Turbo flashlight
- Battery sleeves to run on 8 CR123 cells if desired
- A different Tailcap with a switch for tactical use
- Lanyard
- Spare O-ring
- Owners manual
- Carry bag
- All packed in the stock Eagletac box Batteries are not included with this purchase. Uses 4 x 18650 rechargeable Lithium Ion cells or 8 x CR123 Lithium cells. NOTE: Because of the factory reverse polarity protection, only button-top batteries can be used. If you've dreamed of owning a super thrower LED flashlight of the modified TM36 variety, the wait has been worth it. This light outperforms it, and at a much better price point! I've spent a great deal of time getting the XPG2 LED perfectly focused. DO NOT LOOSEN, TRY TO TIGHTEN, OR REMOVE THE REFLECTOR BEZEL. It is tight, and if it's loosened you risk losing the perfect focus. Modifying flashlights is my hobby. If you see my lights for sale, it's because I need to make room, or simply want or need to recover some funds. I hardly ever break even on material, and I never profit from the time spent on most lights. Be sure to check out my other lights for sale! Please feel free to ask question. Please pay within 3 days of auctions end. Shipping to United States only. Thanks!
