Early 1990's Sierra Designs SuperFlash Mountaineering/ Expedition Tent Includes TWO tent bodies Super rare, we purchased this SuperFlash new back in 1990-91. A few years ago, we bought a second SuperFlash tent body without poles or rain fly from an eBay seller, so this listing includes the complete original SuperFlash with rain fly, a set of poles, stakes (plus extras), stuff sack for the tent and another for the stakes, guy-lines for heavy wind/weather, plus the extra tent body shown in the photos, in case you wear out the floor or zippers on the original one. Always cleaned and cared for, it has taken on a few marks over the years, but is 100% serviceable and in nice condition overall. The extra tent body we purchased has a floor patch professionally completed by Sierra Designs. Tents have been thoroughly cleaned and treated with Nikwax waterproofing and seam-sealer, which you can see along some of the seams.
The SuperFlash was patterned after the North Face Westwind, the legendary lightweight mountaineering and expedition tent. The 3-hoop design provides plenty of headroom to enjoy the space while you outlast the nastiest storms winter has to offer. The packed weight of this tent is just over 6 pounds. Please Google the reviews online and look at previous eBay sales to learn more about this awesome tent. We've had an eBay search going for years looking for parts for this tent in case we ever needed anything to keep it going and they do not come up for sale very often.
